Pharmaceutical Registrations

Every natural or artificial person (corporation) that manufactures, imports or markets medicines in Costa Rica is required to register them with the Ministry of Health. This matter is regulated, among others, by the General Health Law No. 5395 of October 30, 1973 and by the Regulations for Governmental Drug Control.

  • Registration of medicines with the Ministry of Health.
  • Registration follow-up and control of the validity of documents.
